Flux Trap Lip Vent Upgrade
For refl ow ovens with or without fl ux man-
agement the Flux Trap Lip Vent provides
a way to collect fl ux, both keeping it from
dripping on product and clogging facility
exhaust. The fl ux trap is made to be easily
cleaned with removable panels and drip tray.
This upgrade reduces maintenance on facility
exhaust, and increases production yield.
Project Scope
Description
Customer will get new lip vent
assemblies for entrance and exit
of oven.
Procedure
BTU will ship new lip vent
assemblies to the customer. The
old lip vent assemblies must be
removed and replaced with the
new assemblies. The procedure
is mechanical only and does not
involved electrical or controls
changes.
Installation
Upgrade can be performed by
customer or BTU Field Service
can be contracted to install.
Downtime
2 to 4 hours.
Requalifi caiton
Requalifi cation is not required.
