SOLDER PASTE
STORAGE CABINET

X-Treme Series Solder Paste Storage Cabinet is used for the purpose of
controlled and safe storage of solder pastes at proper conditions. In general, these
conditions vary between 2°C-20°C depending solder paste type and brand. Shelf
life of solder paste is normally 2 weeks at ambient temperature. Especially high
temperatures affect solderability viscosity of solder paste. However, moisture is
also an important factor for solder paste. The shelf life of solder paste that is not
stored under proper conditions decreases due to factors such as oxidation and
contamination, problems with solderability occur, and solder quality deteriorates.
For this reason, solder pastes should be stored at low temperatures and under
suitable humidity conditions.
X-Treme Series Solder Paste Storage Cabinet can be set to desired values
at between 2 ° C - 100 ° C temperature and 0.5% Rh - 95% Rh humidity ranges,
and the solder pastes can be stored in the appropriate environment and soldering
problems are eliminated in production. With the latest technology humidity &
temperature sensors, the operator can monitor the values inside the cabinet with
high precision. Thanks to the homogeneous humidity & temperature distribution
inside the cabinet, all soldering materials are stored under the same conditions
and possible losses are prevented. If used properly, it contributes 100% to solder
quality.
Thanks to the MSD Track software, the operator can track the shelf life of
solder pastes, the time they stay under ambient conditions, the remaining quantities,
and their physical location. With FIFO (first in, first out) logic, the Operator can
use solder pastes in order before their shelf life expires. X-Treme Series offers
customized volume options for long term storage of your solder pastes at safe and
proper conditions.
Solder is an alloy that is used to join two or more metal parts. This alloy
consists of a mixture of tin, lead, and silver elements. Numerous methods and
various solder materials are used in the process of soldering PCBs to circuit
components. Among these variety Solder Paste is one of the commonly used
material in today’s technology.
