• Do not use abrasive
surfaces to clean the tip.
• Use original JBC sponges;
other sponges may
contain substances that
reduce the tip’s life.
• Only use distilled water.
• Work always at the lowest
possible temperature.
• To prevent the tip from
oxidizing, add fresh solder
before putting the iron
back in its stand.
• Always use the least
aggressive flux possible.
