Retrofitting the WIN keyboard onto the DOS-machine
Put WIN keyboard (KW3-M5150-00x) to use for DOS machines on account of discontinuity of the
Dos keyboard (KH1-M5150-10x). This information explains cautions in replacing DOS keyboard
with WIN keyboard.
1. Neccessay parts
In order to retrofit the WIN keyboard, there are some additional parts to be replaced at the same
time: bracket and adapter.
We have prepared a new part number, KEYBOARD SAPRE ASSY, which contains a WIN
keyboard, a bracket, and an adapter.

2. Wiring
Connect the conennctor of a keybpard to the system board directly. This information uses
YV100X as an example.
Wiring overview
Clamp the cable at total 4 points with lock-ties.
