2.7 Hardware installation
2.7.1 Assembly and disassembly of the MTC2
: Install the MTC 2 following the manual 00193634-xx.
: Align the MTC 2 after the bubble level.

The MTC 2 has to be aligned very exactly otherwise there is danger of HEAD-CRASH! 2

: Use a 35 mm high tray to check, after the installation, if the Twinhead moves over the tray wi-
thout any contact.
Move the gantry by hand and move the head over the tray.
Move over every edge and over the diagonal to detect possible interfering edges.

Make sure that the tray is laying plane on the carrier and is fitted with magnets! 2

2.8 Operation of the MTC2
: Load the MTC 2 as described in the manual 00193634-xx.
: Provide a tray with a total height of 35 mm in the SIPLACE machine.
: Use the 35 mm high tray to check if the Twinhead moves over the tray without any contact.
Move the gantry by hand and move the head over the tray. Move over every edge and over the
diagonal to detect possible interfering edges.
