2.1 Product Description
SIPLACE TX-Series machines are designed for a power supply of 3 x 360 V~ to 3 x 415 V~ ± 10 %
and 50/60 Hz.
By means of this option, the machine can be operated with a power supply of 3 x 200 V~ up to 3 x
240 V~ ± 10 % and 50/60 Hz.

2.2 Requirements and Restrictions
Vacuum pump
On machines with 120 V, the vacuum pump must be set from star to triangle.

Interior illumination
For machines with 120 V, the interior illumination option (if available) is without function.

Sheet metal drawer at "main switch drawer com-
plete" [03110639‑xx]
Depending on your machine version, the sheet metal
drawer might have no recess.
If the recess is missing, we recommend to rework the
sheet metal drawer (see also: 3.3 "Exchanging the cir-
cuit breaker" [}53]). Usually, this can be done
without major difficulties.
If reworking is not possible, you can order the current
version of the "Main Switch Drawer Com-
plete" [03110639‑xx] part.

3.1 Performing Preparatory Work
► Switch off the machine, disconnect it from the power supply and secure it to prevent
unauthorized reactivation. Observe the instructions in section 1.2 "Preparatory Work..." [}41].
DANGER
Checking for absence of voltage!
► Before you start working check the power supply for absence of voltage and observe
the waiting times! For more information about this read section 4.1.2 "Checking For
Absence of Voltage" [}58].
► Move the component trolley at location 2 out of the machine.

► Loosen the two safety screws(1) on the waste
tape chute and unhook the waste tape chute.
