fehlerfrei möglich ist. Anderenfalls meldet das BIOS beim Hochlaufen einen „Keyboard Error“.

Diese Option bewirkt, dass die Tastenkombinationen CTRL-C und
CTRL-BREAK vom BIOS abgefangen werden und nicht an das Betriebs-
system weitergereicht werden.

Wenn diese Option aktiviert ist, wird bei Drücken der Tastenkombination
CTRL-ALT-DEL anstatt eines Warmstarts ein Hardware-Reset
ausgelöst.
BIOS-E-Segment

Wenn diese Option aktiviert ist, wird vor dem Booten das E-Segment des
BIOS deaktiviert. Damit werden Zugriffe in diesem Bereich an den PCI-
Bus und damit an den ISA- bzw. SMP16-Bus weitergereicht.

4.4.2 Festplattenpartitionierung
Erforderliche Partitionierung der Festplatte:
C:-Partition 50 MByte, aktive Bootpartition
D:-Partition 450 MByte, SIPLACE Software
Die Gesamtgröße beider Partitionen darf 504 Mbyte nicht überschreiten.
Zum Partitionieren wird das DOS-Programm fdisk verwendet.
Es kann nach dem Booten mit einer DOS-Systemdiskette über die Kommandozeile aufgerufen werden
oder es startet automatisch beim Installieren des Betriebssystems, falls die Festplatte nicht
ordnungsgemäß eingerichtet wurde.
