2.2 Safety instructions
DANGER
Make sure that no one is working on the connected component trolley when you switch on the
power supply unit.
The device must only be connected when the placement process has ended and outside the
placement machine.
The device must only be used for the intended usage, which is to supply a component trolley from
the SIPLACE D1, D2, D3 or HF series.
The device must not be manipulated.
Always remove the power plug before opening the device.

2.3 Overview
The external power supply unit is used to supply a component trolley from the SIPLACE D1, D2,
D3 or HF series, regardless of the type of placement machine. 2
The power supply unit allows a component trolley to be set up externally with feeder modules and
also permits function tests to be carried out. 2
It is also possible to carry out a set-up check using a set-up station PC via the integrated CAN bus
interface. 2
The unit is suitable for mains voltages ranging from 88 to 264 V AC. 2
