5 Remove the spring stopper and spring, inner
shaft from the top of the inner shaft.
1. Hold the spring on the upper parts of
the inner shaft to install the spacer.
2. Direction the notch parts of the spring
stopper to the deep side.
3. Hang the spring holding hook, and
draw the spring stopper toward you to
remove. The spring stopper can be
removed by hand.
Be careful to prevent the inner shaft from
falling.
4. Remove the spring stopper and the
spring.
5. Pull out the inner shaft from lower
side of the head.
6 Remove the small gear.
1. Loosen the set screws (2-H2.5x4)
fixing the small gear.
Do not remove the set screw fixing the small
gear. Otherwise, the set shoe may fall.

2. Attach the pulling jig to the top of the
spline nut.
3. Pull the small gear up toward the
pulling jig gently.
4. Remove the pulling jig together with
the small gear from the head.
Be careful not to lose the set shoe for securing
the small gear.
7 Loosen 3-CP2.5x8 to remove the O-ring
holder.
8 Remove the outer collar.
1. Loosen 2-H2.5x2.5 securing the outer
collar.
・ Do not remove the set screw fixing the small
gear. Otherwise, the set shoe may fall.
・ Use caution not to drop the ball bush guide.

2. Attach the pulling jig to the top of the
spline nut.
3. Pull the outer collar up toward the
pulling jig gently.
4. Remove the pulling jig together with
the outer collar from the head.
Be careful not to lose the set shoe for securing
the outer collar.
9 Using the pulling jig, press the spline nut
down and pull it out from the bottom side of
the head.
Do not touch the end plate (black part) on top of
the spline nut.
10 Remove the mask plate.
If the bearing will not be removed from the head,
the mask plate does not need to be removed.
1. Remove all the shafts (Index 1 to
Index 8).
2. Loosen 4-CP2.5X5 to remove the mask
plate.
Use caution not to drop the bearing.
