3.5 Temporary Stop and Restart of Automatic
Operation
3.5.1 Replenishment of Components
There will be two cases of component supply replenishment during au-
tomatic operation - Component Replenishment with Machine in Short of
Components and Intentional Component Replenishment.
• Component Shortage Mode
When a component shortage error occurs during automatic opera-
tion, an error alarm is issued and the machine stops.
In this case, follow the steps below to replenish components and re-
start the automatic operation.

Operation Procedure
(1) Press the [Clear Alarm] button.
(2) Press the [OK] button. (The "Information" window closes.)
(3) Press the [HOME POSITION] button on the operation panel.
(5) Open the safety door.
(6) Open the rack shutter on the operator’s side.
(7) Check for the step (pallet) that has caused a component shortage
error (flickering LED of the component replenishment switch).
(8) Draw out the palette on the step where a component shortage er-
ror has occurred and replenish components.
(9) Press the [TRAY LOAD] switch for the step for which components
have been replenished.
The LED of the [TRAY LOAD] switch illuminates.
(10) Close the rack shutter on the operator’s side.
(11) Close the safety door.
(12) Press the [READY] button on the operation panel.
(13) After the component replenishment has been completed, confirm
that the "AUTO OPN." window is active on the touch screen and
press the [START] button of the main machine. The operation will
restart.
(a) The "Pickup Tray Matrix" tab sheet can also be used
to check the steps and blocks that have caused com-
ponent shortage errors.

2" for details.
(b) It is also possible to replenish the tray in the middle of
processing with components or replace it with an-
other one. In this case, it is required to update the
tray matrix.
