5.2.6.5 Measurement progress
After starting the head verification process, the software runs all measurements consecutively. The
process is only interrupted if a software error occurs or whenever a user interaction is required, for
example, to change tools.
The measurements are performed from top to bottom as shown in the Measurement step column
on the Progress tab:
Fig.77: Measurement progress
The status of each measurement is displayed in the Status column(1):
A gear wheel indicates that the measurement is in progress.
A green tick indicates that the measurement was successful.
A red cross indicates that the measurement failed.
To selectively display test details of a running or already finished test(1), deactivate the Auto
Details(4) option, select a measurement and click the Details...(4) button.
Use the arrow keys(2) on the left to navigate through the test details.
Use the red arrow keys(3) on the right to navigate through tests which failed during the meas-
urements.
Click the Stop button(5) to interrupt the current measurement and to unlock the door.
NOTICE
Stop aborts the current measurement
The measurement does not stop until it is finished. You can only restart the measurement
from the beginning, not from the point where it was interrupted.
To restart the measurement, close the door and click Continue.
Click the Cancel button(6) if you want to abort the whole verification.
CAUTION
Cancel aborts the whole verification
Clicking the Cancel button aborts the whole test and looses all previous settings. The veri-
fication process then needs to be started from the beginning.
Only click Cancel if you are sure to discard all results.

5.3 Dismounting the heads
When the verification process is finished, you can dismount the placement head.
Double-click the TB Stop icon on your desktop to close the SIPLACE software.
DANGER
Checking for absence of voltage!
Switch off the main power switch to ensure the absence of voltage!
Turn off the compressed air valves on the hoses at the head unit front to stop the compressed
air or vacuum supply to the head.
NOTICE
Compressed air supply still enabled!
Turning off the compressed air valves on the hoses at the HCS front side only disables the
compressed air supply to the head. This is sufficient when exchanging heads.
To disable the compressed air supply completely, also turn off the corresponding
valve at the back of the head unit.
Disconnect all hoses from the head.
Remove the flat ribbon cables from the board adapter head interfaces at the front.
Remove the camera connections.
Loosen the screws fastening the head to the head mounting board.
Remove the head.
CAUTION
Damage to P&P module!
When you loosen the screws to remove the head, the head could fall down and cause dam-
age to the HCS and to the head itself.
Hold the placement head while removing it from the head mounting board.
