7.5.3 Axis control Star Axis
The star axis is driven via a 3-phase AC stepping
motor with an intermediate circuit voltage of 150 V.
The activation is via two track signals (phase shift
120°) from the processor of the A364 I
target "W"
and
I
-target "U"
. The third phase is calculated
automatically.

4. LED‘s on Servo board:
Power supply ON
Servo enable, it the enable signal from the
axis board.
Display R.M.S. current limiter shorter than
2,5 s.
Error: Overvoltage, overcurrent,
overtemperature or nominal current
overshoot longer than 2.5 sec.
5. 3 Phase AC motor.
6. Between the motor and the incremental
encoder exist a fixed mechanical combination.
7. Incremental encoder: transmit the exact
position of the axis The track signals are the
only feedback signals for the axes.
The servo board controls the motor directly.

7.5.3.1 Check the star axis dynamics.
NOTE:
For detailed notes to check the axis dynamic, please use the "Adjustment
manual".
NOTE:
Before adjusting the axes, ensure that the machine has reached its operating
temperature. Switch the machine on at least 30 minutes before you begin work.
