Replacing the syringes

1.1 Removing the Old Syringe

1. Remove all nozzles from the head.

2. Set the head on a head maintenance stand as shown below.

3. Remove the following 4 screws (M3 x 6), and then remove the cover.

4. Repeat the procedure to remove the 4 screws (M3 x 6) and cover on the opposite

side of the head.

5. Remove the black cover on the bottom side of the head.

Replacing the syringes

6. Set the head on a paper roll as shown below.

7. Pull the spring back and set the spring retainer jig on the syringe as shown below.

8. Use the lever jig and torque driver to loosen the nut on the old syringe.

Remove the syringe assembly from the head, and then check that none of the parts shown

below are missing.

9. This completes the syringe removal procedure.
