Before Use
We are grateful to you for purchasing our feeder adjusting jig JG-0209E (camera type).
This feeder adjusting jig is used to measure the component pickup position of the feeder
(SIGMA-G4/G5 and GXH series) for "Hitachi Direct Drive Modular Mounter" and write
the offset data in the memory of the feeder.
This instruction manual describes the functions, handling, and operations of the feeder
adjusting jig for those who have nished the basic training of the chip mounter.
Before using the feeder adjusting jig, please read this instruction manual carefully to fully
understand the instructions and precautionary measures for safety purposes.
After reading through this manual, please use this manual as an occasional reference and
keep it within reach.

Caution and Warning
Limited Warranty
Hitachi represents and warrants the following based on the specications in the
instruction manual as long as this feeder adjusting jig is used in accordance with the
provided instructions.
(1) Coverage
Should the feeder adjusting jig fail or malfunction because of a manufacturing
defect in materials or workmanship, we will repair it free of charge.
(2) Warranty Period
The adjusting jig is warranted in normal use for a period of one year (not later than
twelve months) from the date of purchasing.
(3) Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not apply in the following cases even within the warranty
period.
(a) Damage caused by failure to provide the specied suitable installation,
operating environment, or maintenance for the adjusting jig.
(b) Damage caused by failure to use the specied power source (voltage and
frequency), including abnormal power supply.
(c) Damage caused by corrosions in electrical circuits and deterioration of
optical elements due to ambient air mixed with strong corrosive gas.
(d) Damage caused by hardware, software, and auxiliaries that are not provided
by us.
(e) Damage caused by failure to handle or maintain the adjusting jig properly.
(f) Damage caused by any repair work performed by any party other than our
company.
(g) Damage caused by failure to move or transport the adjusting jig.
(h) Damage caused by unapproved disassembly or modication.
(i) Damage caused by a Force Majeure such as, but not limited to, re,
earthquake, storm, ood, lightning, strike, labor dispute, riots, crimes,
terrorism, war, radioactive contamination, toxic substance, or any other
incident beyond our reasonable control.
