Caution and Warning
Limited Warranty
Hitachi represents and warrants the following based on the specications in the
instruction manual as long as this feeder adjusting jig is used in accordance with the
provided instructions.
(1) Coverage
Should the feeder adjusting jig fail or malfunction because of a manufacturing
defect in materials or workmanship, we will repair it free of charge.
(2) Warranty Period
The adjusting jig is warranted in normal use for a period of one year (not later than
twelve months) from the date of purchasing.
(3) Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not apply in the following cases even within the warranty
period.
(a) Damage caused by failure to provide the specied suitable installation,
operating environment, or maintenance for the adjusting jig.
(b) Damage caused by failure to use the specied power source (voltage and
frequency), including abnormal power supply.
(c) Damage caused by corrosions in electrical circuits and deterioration of
optical elements due to ambient air mixed with strong corrosive gas.
(d) Damage caused by hardware, software, and auxiliaries that are not provided
by us.
(e) Damage caused by failure to handle or maintain the adjusting jig properly.
(f) Damage caused by any repair work performed by any party other than our
company.
(g) Damage caused by failure to move or transport the adjusting jig.
(h) Damage caused by unapproved disassembly or modication.
(i) Damage caused by a Force Majeure such as, but not limited to, re,
earthquake, storm, ood, lightning, strike, labor dispute, riots, crimes,
terrorism, war, radioactive contamination, toxic substance, or any other
incident beyond our reasonable control.
(j) Damage caused by a computer virus

In addition, Hitachi is not liable for any direct or indirect loss or damages
whatsoever, whether based upon express or implied warranty.
No oral or written information, or advice/suggestion given by Hitachi (its
executives, employees, agencies and all concerned) to the original purchaser or a
third party shall create a warranty or obligation to Hitachi, regarding the conformity
with the performance of the feeder adjusting jig. Formally approved information or
advice/suggestion are excluded.
Hitachi is not responsible for any damage to the provided application software or
loss of data, arising from any damage to this feeder adjusting jig.
About Installation and Transfer
Before the jig is installed, the installation site must be properly prepared on the
customer side to ensure the installation requirements described in the instruction
manual.
Frequency and voltage difference in local site may cause a machine malfunction.
The surrounding circumstances (electromagnetic radiation obstruction or noises)
may cause a machine malfunction.
About Specication Change
Consult the marketing department or sales agency of Hitachi High-Technologies for
desired changes of the feeder adjusting jig and the software specications.
In no event will we be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential
damages resulting from any modication made without any prior notice in a written form.

All other corporate and product names in this manual are owned by and are the
trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective companies.
Neither (TM) nor (R) marks are described clearly in this manual.
(2) Results of the Operation
In no event will our company be liable for direct, indirect, special, or consequential
damages resulting from any defect in the software or its documentation.
New Systemdisks can be purchased whenever available.
(3) Data Backup Operation
Your valuable data might be lost due to failures in hardware, computer viruses or
trouble caused by software. Periodically backup the created data, etc., for yourself.
It can minimize damage and time for recovery.
