2.1 WARNING, MANDATORY AND SAFETY NOTICES
2.1.1 Warning Notices
Safety notices in the form of WARNING, MANDATORY and SAFETY labels are placed on the
printing machine, and where appropriate, on the fitted option. Notices are posted throughout the
associated documentation, to alert operators/maintainers to possible hazards, which may cause
physical injury or equipment damage.
WARNING
BOARD CLAMPS. EXTREME CARE MUST BE EXERCISED WHEN WORKING IN
THE TOOLING AREA OF THE MACHINE TO AVOID INJURY. THE FOILS ON THE
FRONT AND REAR BOARD CLAMPS ARE VERY SHARP.
CAUTION
EQUIPMENT SERVICING. THE LASER/LED DOES NOT CONTAIN USER
SERVICEABLE PARTS. OPENING THE UNIT COULD CAUSE MIS-ALIGNMENT
OF THE LASER, THIS MAY MAKE THE EQUIPMENT DANGEROUS TO
OPERATE.
2.1.2 Mandatory Notices
Mandatory notices draw the attention of operators/maintainers to the prescribed behaviour to be
adhered whilst engaged in the activity. The following mandatory labels are affixed to the machine
and are displayed in the machine documentation:

the equipment, and are identified in the relevant area of the manual.
