: Fix the cable trailing plate on the machine frame.
: Mount the cover plate of the gantry and the component reject bin.

: Remove the hoses from the vacuum generator.
: Remove the vacuum generator.
: Install the vacuum generator for the vacuum pump.
: Connect the hoses to the new vacuum generator.

: Open the compressed air stopcock.
: Close the compressed air supply door.
: Close the covers of the placement machine and connect it to the supply voltage.
: Check the air pressure for the stopper at the pressure gauge. The air pressure must be at
2.3 bar.
: For adjusting the forced air valve use a nozzle type 904.
: Adjust the forced air valve for:
the placement cicuit to 150 ± 50 mbar
the rejection circuit to 250 ± 50 mbar.

2.4 Retrofitting instructions for vacuum pump on
S-25 HM / S-27 HM
2.4.1 Required parts
Connection kit for vacuum pump S-25 HM (item number 00118300-01) 2
Connection kit for vacuum pump S-27 HM (item number 00118506-01) 2
Vacuum pump (item no. 00119794-xx) 2
2.4.2 Required tools
Set of allen keys 2
Set of flat wrenches 2
Cross-head screwdriver 2
2.4.3 Fitting
: Switch the placement machine off at the main switch and disconnect it from the power supply.
: Open the compressed air supply door.
: Close the main compressed air stopcock.
: Close the stopcock.
: Remove the comprssed air hoses at both stopcocks (4 hoses).
: Connect the 4 compressed air hoses to the vacuum distributor.
: Connect a new compressed air hose to every stopcock.
