2. Common Precautionary Items
Precautions before Use
CAUTION
Do not open the cover, etc., of the electrical box because residual
voltages remain inside even after the breaker is turned "OFF" (power
OFF).
Do not modify the devices nor use any parts other than the specied
one.
NOTICE
Do not change the settings of OS (Operating System) nor install any
applications additionally except for the printer driver.
Note
: Connection to Internet is possible. In that case, it is highly
recommended that an antivirus software program be installed
and updated from time to time.
The data stored in the personal computer may be corrupted due to
breakdown or malfunction of the device.
It is strongly recommended that the hard disk data be periodically
backed up.
Instantaneous voltage drop in the power supply due to power failure
or lightning will cause the personal computer to break down and the
software or the data to corrupt.
It is recommended that a DC uninterruptive power supply be used as
a countermeasure against instantaneous voltage drop.

WARNING
Those who wear implanted pacemakers should not handle the
tape feeders.
Permanent magnets are used in the tape feeders. The
pacemaker may be affected by the magnetism, causing a
serious accident.
CAUTION
If the tape feeder is dropped, it might injure your foot or the
feeder itself be damaged.
Handle one by one carefully and take care not to drop.
No person other than the machine operator is allowed to enter the
work area.
When you install or uninstall a tape feeder, avoid getting your
ngers caught in the feeder xing clamp.
In case of a disaster of any kind, earthquake, storm, ood, re, or
lightning, immediately stop to use the feeder adjusting jig and turn
off the power supply.
Carefully handle the master tapes.
The master tapes are made of a thin metal. Avoid cutting your nger
with the tape edges.

NOTICE
Do not use any unspecied feeders.
Conrm that the hook at the end of the tape feeder is securely
engaged and the suppressor is not set aoat.
When there is a problem with the feeder adjusting jig, locate the
cause and assess the condition. If necessary, set the breaker of the jig
to "OFF" (Power OFF).
After the problem has been rectied completely, reset the jig to its
normal condition.
Do not give a strong shock to the micrometer by hitting against
part of human body or an object. Otherwise, the micrometer may
be damaged, resulting in inaccurate adjustment of the component
pickup position.
