5.1.1 Tape Feed Lever Forward/Backward Stroke
The tape feed advance and retract stroke sends the tape forward.
The feeder moves the component to the pick-up position with the
forward stroke.
Square-motion type feeders however, advance the tape with the up
and down movement of the tape positioning claw, along with the
forward and backward motion of the tape feed lever.
• Drive Mechanism
The cam starts the tape feed cycle by advancing the lever on the
feeder. The stroke (fixed) depends on the cam curvature.
