The X-Feeder Upgrade Package is a retrofitting for X-feeders, which offers the possibility of the opera

tion and the film transport of X-feeders significantly.
▪ Modified rocker and film guide! No further distinction is required, if is made with or without PSA film
(Pressure Sensitive Adhesive very sticky film edges). The clips can be dispensed with.
▪ Toothed stuffing gear on film transport! Improved grip on the foil and therefore safer and faithful
transport the film.
▪ Flap on the film container with magnetic lock! Defined force when the valve opens.
The upgrade package is available for 16-104mm X feeder.

This manual contains notes that must be observed to guarantee your personal safety and to avoid dam

age to equipment. These notes are highlighted by different symbols and are indicated as follows accord

ing to the level of risk:
1. Revised with new rocker design stuffing gear
- More grip on the film with uniform insertion force.
2. New film roll
- film is folded automatically, ie the feeder works well,
if you work with or without sticky film.
3. Use cover strip rocker
- Supports the folding of the foil in combination with
the folding roller.
4. Revised flap on the cover foil disposal
- Open immediately, if the foil tank is full (either open
or closed).
NOTICE
Note for the use of safety instructions
Please observe the safety instructions in the user manual of the relevant machine for all work!
CAUTION
Pay attention to feeder module ESD safety:
Before you open the side cover, make sure you are wearing the ESD protection wristband, to
prevent damage to the highly sensitive boards inside the feeder module.
