SIPLACE JTF-M
– Supported on the SX1/SX2 V2, X4i S micron and SIPLACE X-series S placement machines
only.
– On the SX1/SX2 V2 placement machine no tape feeder can be placed on the location beside
the JTF-M because no empty tape channel is available.
SIPLACE Wafer Systems
– Supported on the CA-series placement machines only.
– A specific table is required.
External virtual ink spot handling
– Only possible for stations with station software from version 707.0 and SIPLACE Pro from
version 11.1.
– Physical and virtual ink spots must not be mixed.
– The board must not contain any active ink spots.
Software installation on older placement machines
During the station software installation on older X-series or X S-series placement machines that are
equipped with a CPP placement head and an MTC at location 2, a message is displayed that the
travel range has to be remeasured.
This occurs once to initialize the buffer monitoring. Thereafter, it will be checked if a retrofit has
been performed that requires a recalibration of the travel range.
CPP / Twin Head placement heads on SIPLACE CA series
– Stationary cameras may be installed on location 1 and 3 only.
– Twin Head may be installed on location 3 only.
– The CPP placement head is only supported in the high position on SIPLACE Wafer Systems.
Measuring and changing the component height measured by the component sensor at the
station
– Only for placement heads that are equipped with a component sensor.
– Only for nozzle and component combinations in which the component height is supposed to be
measured with the component sensor.
– The component sensor will not perform any measurement if the component height
measurement is omitted due to SIPLACE Pro rules.
Conveyor Carrier X
– No travel range check.
– No pickup simulation.
– The Conveyor Carrier X uses one track on an X-table virtually. If the real table should be
completely occupied, the operator might have to remove a feeder from the table to create place
for the virtual feeder.
– No I-Placement mode.
– The SIPLACE Pro Optimizer does not consider the time it takes to fill up a tray with
components and change it.

Individual barcode fiducials
– Barcode fiducials in trays are not supported.
– Barcode fiducials on the component underside are not supported because in this case the
barcode is read before the component is picked up.

9 Corrected Errors
708.1 SP2 Station Software
The 708.1 SP2 station software version contains all error corrections of the previous 701.xx –
708.1 SP1 versions. Additionally, the following errors have been corrected in this version:

D1-114620601 The CAN card was not recognized during the first machine configuration.
D1-114934101 The production could not be started when a connected MTC was switched off.
D1-116350301 Sporadically LED components were placed separately and this reduced the
performance of the machine.
D1-116638601 Changes within the parameter settings for the Glue Feeder were not
transferred to the feeder.
D1-116695601 Sporadically, a nozzle could neither be put back into the magazine nor
rejected.
D1-114908602 A dirty or defective pressure regulation valve was not detected.
D17753-22701 Conveyor parameter Current at lifting table was not calculated correctly.

D1-114615401 During production the station software interface was suddenly no longer
responding. After restart it was ok.
D1-116251101 Feeder error messages were no longer included in the "EventLog" file.
