Linear Motor Maintenance
•
The linear motor magnets require no special maintenance
unless they become contaminated. In the event of
contamination, carry out the following procedure:
•
Wrap a plastic spatula with sticky tape, sticky side out.
•
Use the spatula to remove any debris that is attached to the

X and Y camera linear motor magnets.
•
To remove print material from the magnets, use alcohol on
a lint free cloth.
•
Inspect Forcers for damaged epoxy and exposed windings
•
The Camera X and Y linear motor encoder strips require no
maintenance unless they become contaminated. In the
event of contamination, use a dry lint free cloth to wipe the
encoder strip.

The blue under screen cleaner module
consists of the following sub-assemblies:
– Cleaner body assembly
– Screen Cleaner I/O node 4
– Home sensor
