Inserting the Pump into the Machine
Place the pump on a pallet truck with a suitable base
and secure this with a safety belt to prevent it falling
off.
Move the pump in front of the machine installation lo-
cation.
CAUTION!
When sliding the fork of a fork-lift truck or similar equip-
ment underneath the machine, lower the fork sufficiently
to ensure that any parts under the base (such as the vac-
uum pump fixture plate) are not damaged.
NOTICE!
You might need to enlist the help of a second person to
prevent this.
Place the pump on the assembly plate in the installa-
tion location and push in back as far as the stopper.
Run the power cable to the other side in location area
2, where it can be plugged into the connection unit.
Fix the vacuum hoses to the eyelet on the top of the
pump, with a cable tie. Make sure that the cables are
not pinched.

Fitting the Air Outlet Conduit [03079527-xx] Under the Machine
Connect the vacuum hoses to the distributor block:
⇨ Hose 1 m vacuum pump SX12 [03090005-xx]
⇨ Hose 2 m vacuum pump SX12 [03090006-xx]
For a complete head assembly, use the connections
in the row (1) or all angle connection in the row (2).
If you are only connecting one head, close the con-
nections in the free row with dummy plugs.
Air outlet conduit before installation
The air outlet conduit must be placed under the machine
if the exhaust air is to be guided outside properly.

2. Screw and nib engage
3. Mounting plate
4. Stop position of pump
The air outlet conduit is pushed under the pump dur-
ing installation, so that the screw fixed with adhesive
to the wedge and the nib on the base plate of the
pump (2) engage with one another. The wedge is
screwed to the mounting plate through the slots on
the left and right (1). (Screws: ISO4762-M8x40-A2-

Position the exhaust tube onto the connecting piece
and run the hose along the side of the machine base
and out of the machine.
