► Replace the existing vacuum generator with the "vac-

uum generator for vacuum pump DLM2

[03012076-xx].

Final Work

► Fit the cover over the vacuum pump.

► Install the used tape chute.

Compone nt Supply - Manual Tables - Fitting Pr otections - Color Version

► If you have removed the table height adjustment and the calibration tool holder, refit these.

► If you have opened the cover on the cable duct and left it up during the conversion work, close it

again now.

► Refit the center cover on the distributor and fix into place.

► Dock the component trolleys onto the SX machines.

► Re-insert the manual table into DX machines.

► Switch the machine on.

► Open the compressed air shut-off valve.

► Push the pneumatic unit into the machine.

► Close all doors.

► Switch the machine on at the main switch.

Manual tables only:

WARNING!

There is a risk of injury on manual tables without the two

protections.

► Fit the two protections:

– Protection waste chute DX1/2 left [03094519-xx]

– Protection waste chute DX1/2 right [03094522-

xx]

CAUTION

Switch-on preconditions

Before switching on, perform the following checks to prevent injuries or serious damage to

property:

Make sure of the following before you switch the compressed air supply back on:

► Check that all hose connections are correctly assigned. Make sure that no compressed air

can get into a vacuum hose.

► Check that all conditions for switch-on of the vacuum pump and connected placement ma-

chine have been fulfilled. Read the corresponding operation manuals for more information.

► Make sure that the vacuum pump is always switched on before the machine.
