Check the connection state of the communication cable for the corresponding tray
feeder.
Check if the corresponding tray feeder is in ‘Ready’ state.
Check the setups (Baud rate, etc.) related to the communication with the
corresponding feeder.
Despite such checks and measures, if the problem occurs again, contact our designated
C/S and local agent.
$5506 Time out error in the tray feeder. [FREEZE LEVEL]
[Problem]
Timeout has occurred due to absence of response in the tray feeder within the pre-
determined time after requesting the tray feeder status from the equipment.
The communication cable is plugged out.
[Solution]
Turn off the Buzzer by pressing the “STOP” button.
Switch the machine to “IDLE” mode by pressing the “RESET” button.
Turn off the buzzer by pressing the “STOP” button.
Ensure that the Tray Feeder related setup is properly set up in the ‘Pref.’ of the Sys.
Setup menu. (Type, Ch, Id)

[Problem]
An error occurred in the serial transmission function requesting the status from the
equipment to the tray feeder.
[Solution]
Take measures same as those against the error code “$5506”.
$550a TRAY_INVALID_RES_ERROR. [EMER LEVEL]
[Problem]
The result not defined in the communication code between the equipment and tray
feeder was received.
[Solution]
Turn off the Buzzer by pressing the “STOP” button.
Switch the machine to “IDLE” mode by pressing the “RESET” button.
Check communication cable.
Check on the ‘Tray’ of System Setup menu if the setups (Type, Ch, and Id) related to
the tray feeder are correctly done. (Perform [Solution] in $5506)
$5512 TRAY_INVALID_LOCK_CMD_ERROR. [FREEZE LEVEL]
[Problem]
The equipment transmitted the Manual Lock command to the tray feeder, but the
current version of the tray feeder software did not allow this command to be
processed.
[Solution]
Update the tray feeder software.

$5611 A pneumatic system error occurred while picking up a part from the tape feeder.
[WARNING LEVEL]
$5613 A pneumatic system error occurred while picking up a part from the stick feeder.
[WARNING LEVEL]
$5615 A pneumatic system error occurred while picking up a part from the tray feeder.
[WARNING LEVEL]
[Problem]
The pneumatic pressure check result after part pickup shows that the pneumatic
pressure is lower than the vacuum when the part is picked up.
[Solution]
Check if the part was not picked up.
If the part was not picked up, find the cause of the failure and take measures against it.
Check the pickup position (including height), part feeding state, etc.
Check the pneumatic system of the corresponding head. Check if the pneumatic
pressure of the corresponding head is normal in the window for the pneumatic
pressure check.
Check nozzle clogging, pneumatic pressure filter fouling as well as leakage, twist and
bending of the pneumatic system piping.
Check if the level of pneumatic pressure supplied to the machine is too low.
Despite such checks and measures, if the problem occurs again, contact our designated
C/S and local agent.
$5630 A pneumatic error occurred to the head before placing the part (there is no part at the
head). [WARNING LEVEL]
[Problem]
The pneumatic pressure check result before part placement shows that the pneumatic
pressure is lower than the vacuum when the part is picked up.
[Solution]
Check if there is a part remaining at the corresponding head.
When there is a part, select the ‘Device’ submenu of the ‘System Setup’ menu and
select the ‘Nozzle’ item. Then check the vacuum value in the ‘Nozzle’ dialog box.
Adjust the vacuum value after comparing the current vacuum state with the pneumatic
pressure setup related to the part pickup of the corresponding nozzle.
