Wear the protective gloves.

With the amplifier adjustment driver, rotate the amplifier
sensitivity adjustment dial so that the maximum sensitivity
displayed on the BLADE BREAKAGE DETECTOR
ADJUSTMENT screen [screen 4.2] reads between or equal to
90% and 99%.
- Clockwise dial rotation increases the sensitivity level.

- When the sensitivity level remains unduly low after cleaning
and amplifier adjustment;
It is conceivable that the fiber may be broken.

1-3. Cleaning the Spindle
Safety items for cleaning the spindle
WARNING
When you perform the procedure set forth in this section, you have to
place your hands in a drive section. If you perform maintenance with
the power ON, your fingers or hands may be caught or cut off.
Turn OFF the machine and shut off the facility power supply before
starting this procedure.
Also, ensure that no other person touches the machine during
operation.
CAUTION
Keep the air supply to the spindle ON during spindle cleaning.
If the air supply to the spindle is stopped during spindle cleaning,
foreign substance may enter inside the spindle, which can lead to
spindle failure.
NOTICE
Neither safety goggles, protective gloves, stepstools, flashlights nor
alcohol, all of which are necessary for maintenance work, are not
supplied with the machine. Use what are furnished in your factory or
what comply with your factory's standards.
Before cleaning
Have on hand the following items to clean the spindle.
Scrubbing cloth
Water or deionized water
Cloth
