MAINTENANCE screen [screen 7.0].

From the ENGINEERING MAINTENANCE screen [screen 7.0],
press the <F2> button.

Move the push-pull axis to its rear end.

Turn OFF the main switch and pull out the key.

Turn OFF the circuit breaker on the left of the machine. Lock out
the circuit breaker lever with a padlock or the like.

Shut off the facility power supply.

Open the front arm section cover.

Remove the lower transfer axis cover. Then store it sufficiently
away from the working area.

RIGHT SIDE
- To disengage the lower transfer axis cover, pull the lower part
of the cover toward you and lift it up.
- Then pull the cover out of the machine from the front arm
section cover side.

Procedures for greasing the push-pull axis
WARNING
When you perform the procedure set forth in this section, you have to
place your hands in a drive section. If you perform maintenance with
the power ON, your fingers or hands may be caught or cut off.
Turn OFF the machine and shut off the facility power supply before
starting this procedure.
Also, ensure that no other person touches the machine during
lubricating.

With a lint-free cloth, wipe off the dirty grease on the rail and
ball-bearing leadscrew of the push-pull axis linear guide section.

With a spatula, apply grease to the rail and ball-bearing
leadscrew.

Reinstall the lower transfer axis cover.

Close the front arm section cover.
