Reinstall the cover in its original position.

Reinstall the covers [S] and [U].

Turn ON the facility power source.

Open the circuit breaker lever lockout and then turn ON the circuit
breaker.

Insert the key into the main switch and then turn ON the main
switch.

Press the light-up switch and check whether the fluorescent lamp
properly illuminates.

Safety items for replacing the UV irradiation lamp
WARNING
- Since the UV irradiation unit has the N
2
purge specification. If the N
2
gas is filled and causes oxygen deficiency, it may lead to critical
condition or death.
To maintain proper oxygen concentration, sufficiently ventilate the
purge section before performing maintenance.
The oxygen concentration lowers while N
2
gasissuppliedor
immediately after stopping its supply. During such periods, do not
position your face near the N
2
gas discharge section.
- Since the UV lamps located inside the UV irradiation unit are
consumables, you have to replace them when they reach their
usage limit. Before replacing the lamps, make sure that the power
to the machine is turned OFF.
- Non-approved UV irradiation lamps could cause visual impairment
or skin disorders due to harmful ultraviolet rays or generation of
ozone.
Use the following DISCO-designated lamps for the UV irradiation
unit.

CAUTION
When you remove or install the glass plate, exercise care to avoid it
from contacting with the UV irradiation lamp.

break, which may lead to injury.

The usage limit of the UV irradiation lamp
Long-hours use of the UV irradiation unit will make the UV irradiation lamp,
in accordance with this, the irradiation power of the lamp will also decline.
You can calculate the usage limit of a UV irradiation lamp by the following
equation.
The usage limit of a UV irradiation lamp = 2000 hours ÷ (irradiation time
of one workpiece)
÷ (number of workpieces processed in a day)
When the UV irradiation lamp use period reaches the calculated value, replace
the UV irradiation lamp.
The number of the UV irradiation lamps mounted in the machine is ten. When
one of the lamps reaches its usage limit, replace all of them.

This section describes the procedure for replacing the UV irradiation lamp.
