System Messages of the MMI and Solutions
1.2.1.1. Part Non-pickup Error
E0000 Incorrect installation of tape reel in the tape feeder
[Cause]
Sprocket teeth of the tape feeder are not engaged correctly into the tape holes.
[Measures]
Engage the sprocket teeth of the tape feeder into the tape holes correctly.
E0010 A part is flipped over or stands on an edge
[Cause]
1) When peeling the upper cover tape manually, parts are taken out being attached with
the vinyl Emboss tape reel is used for an 8mm and 4 pitch feeder that uses paper tape
reel
2) Emboss tape reel is used for an 8mm 4 pitch feeder that uses a paper tape reel.
[Measures]
1) Replace the tape reel.
2) For an emboss tape reel, use an emboss tape feeder.
E0011 A part is stuck to the tape guide (only for 8mm feeder)
[Cause]
Static electricity occurred to a part or a part is stuck to the tape guide since it was
magnetized
[Measures]
Contact our designated C/S company or local agent. (Replace the tape guide)
For further details, refer to the following documents:
Technical Reference : Tape Feeder
E0012 A part is flipped over or stands on an edge due to deformation of the tape guide and
shutter
[Cause]
1) The tape guide does not move smoothly or it is deformed due to impact
2) When supplying parts manually, a part interferes with the shutter
[Measures]
1) Contact our designated C/S company or local agent. (Replace the tape guide)
2) Contact our designated C/S company or local agent. (Replace the shutter)

E0013 A part is flipped over or stands on an edge due to defective shutter operation
[Cause]
The shutter does not operate smoothly due to defective tape guide
[Measures]
Contact our designated C/S company or local agent. (Replace the tape guide)
E0014 A part is flipped over or stands on an edge due to inappropriate part feeding speed
(for feeders larger than 12mm SMF and SLM feeders)
[Cause]
Check whether the speed control valve is set in the low part feeding speed mode for
the feeder cylinder (for feeders larger than 12mm feeders)
Check whether a part is not flipped over or stands on an edge by controlling the
feeding speed of the feeder using the speed control valve
[Measures]
Control the part feeding speed to an appropriate speed using the speed control valve
E0020 Defective feeding due to foreign materials on the sprocket and ratchet
[Cause]
Defective maintenance of the tape feeder
[Measures]
Remove the foreign materials on the sprocket and ratchet
E0021 Defective feeding motor operation of the tape feeder (for SME and SLM feeders)
[Cause]
1) Abnormal power supply to the motor (defective fuse in the feeder power supply board)
2) The LED color changes to red due to overload and the motor does not operate
3) Defective probe pin
4) Foreign materials exist on the probe pin
5) The feeder base is damaged or defective
6) Foreign materials exist on the feeder base board contact
7) Defective feeder control board
8) Defective feeder control board cable
9) Any of the 7 segment errors occurred (E0: Overcurrent error, E1: Origin sensor error,
E6: Pitch counter error).
[Measures]
1) Check whether the power is supplied to the motor properly. If there is a problem,
