Concerning storage
Basic items to be observed with regard to the storage of the SM feeder are as follows.
Cautions against tape feeder storage and tape feeder reel replacement
Storing or replacing the reel while tape feeders are stacked may cause damage or
deformation to the components of the tape feeder. When replacing the tape feeder reel,
use the tape feeder replacement rack. Store the tape feeders on a stacking rack.
Do not store the feeders in places where temperature and humidity level are high
Avoid storing feeders in locations with high humidity or where the temperature is
higher than 40ºC. Rust or dewing may have negative effects on the driving part and
electronic circuit.
Do not store feeders in a location where magnetism is generated
If feeders are stored in a location where magnetism is generated, ensure that the area
from which the components on the reel are picked up is not magnetized.
Magnetization of such area may lead to problems with the smooth supply of
components.
Do not pile feeders up on one another
Place of high temperature and high humidity
