Pushing the grip forward, fix the feeder to the feeder base. At this time, confirm if the

feeder is firmly fixed to the feeder base.

In the case of 12mm and 16mm tape, pay attention to the slot number while inserting the

feeder into the feeder base as the feeder location pin is at the left side when viewed from

above the feeder.

The method of installing SM 24mm~88mm feeder at the feeder base is as follows.

After confirming the slot number of the required feeder base, insert the SM feeder into

the slot, and push the feeder with adequate force until the location pin at the lower front

of the feeder and vertical plate of the feeder base contact each other. In the case of 24mm

and 88mm large feeder, pay attention to the slot number while inserting the feeder into

the feeder base as the feeder location pin is at the left side when viewed from above the

feeder.

Pushing the grip forward, fix the feeder to the feeder base. At this time, confirm if the

feeder is firmly fixed to the feeder base.

Caution

If the movement of the grip is hard and abnormal while

fixing the SM feeder into the feeder base by pushing the

grip, stop fixing the SM feeder into the feeder base for a

moment and check if there is any foreign material in the

feeder base slot. Fix the SM feeder into the feeder base

only when all conditions are normal.

2.4. Removing Feeder from Feeder Base

To remove the feeder from the feeder base, first confirm that the machine is in idle state.

Then release the locking of the feeder by pulling back the grip, grasping the handle with

the left hand, and removing the feeder while moving it backward.

Caution

Be careful as the feeder may become deformed or

damaged by falling, or by collision of the feeder tape guide

or locker with the feeder base at the moment the feeder is

completely removed from the slot of the feeder base.
