4.1.3.2 Pass-through
If there are multiple machines in the line, the ACT plate has to be transported through single
machines either before or after the machine to be measured.
The Pass-through function can be activated and deactivated in the setup of the respective station.

4.2 Measuring with the ACT at the Station
You have already specified the placement and measurement programs at the station as described
in section 4.1.
► Now set up the components on the station.
4.2.1 Setting Up Components on the Component Table
► Open the machine cover.
► Place the manual waffle pack tray carrier or the feeder onto the specified tracks of the relevant
location.
Example of the position of manual waffle pack tray carrier with glass components for a
SIPLACE X3
NOTICE
The waffle pack tray carrier on an X machine or SX machine with an X-table must be on
track 21 (Figure 4-16
). Therefore, the waffle pack tray occupies track 7 to 35
(Figure 4-17).
NOTICE
Before you undock an X-table with a set ACT tray you should remove the ACT tray or
push it back under the centering / comb bar. Otherwise, it may get stuck in the tape
removal channel and get damaged.

CAUTION
Do not reach into the machine during the placement and measurement processes!
► Place the waffle pack tray with the glass components for the relevant head type (TH, P&P,
C&P6) on the corresponding manual waffle pack tray holder (table, Figure 2-4) and push it to
the rearmost stop as displayed in Figure 4-16).
WARNING
Risk of head crash!
The catch of the tray holder must snap into place into the hole, otherwise the tray and
holder could tip sideways and the placement head could collide with the tray.
The intervention guard described in the next chapter must then be fitted.
