Each patented component has been designed as part
of a complete, integrated system that improves yields
and reduces costs by producing the most accurate,
repeatable uid deposits possible.
Our syringe barrels are made of a proprietary
polypropylene blend that delivers exceptional clarity
and dimensional stability. The unique internal design
enhances uid ow and minimizes turbulence and
shear during lling and dispensing.
Matching pistons are available in six styles to ensure
control for virtually any uid in any application. When
uid is dispensed, the close tolerance wiping action
eliminates waste and residue.
Syringe barrel adapters have a design that facilitates
installation/removal, and a positive safety locking action
that prevents accidental disengagement.
Free of ash, burrs, or other contaminants, EFD
dispensing tips are designed with engineered hub ats
for easy twist on, twist off, and SafetyLok threads to
ensure safe, positive attachment to the syringe barrel.

Syringe barrels and pistons are produced in our own silicone-free facilities, where
they are subjected to stringent quality control inspections throughout the entire
manufacturing process.

Barrel Kits
Nordson EFD syringe barrel kits provide the most convenient and reliable way to
package uids. Each kit contains 50, 500, or 1000 complete sets of syringes and
pistons or syringes, pistons, tip caps, and end caps. White SmoothFlow wiper
pistons and blue end and tip caps are standard.
These components come packaged in anti-static bags. Individual bags are
sealed with tamper-evident seals.
