At locations 2 and 4, the placement heads are unable to access the two inner nozzle maga-
zines (item 2 in Fig. 6.1 - 13
).
All magazine locations must be filled since the safety circuit stops the machine in response
to missing magazines or magazines that are not seated correctly.

(2) Positions for reserve nozzle magazines (location 2 or 4)

6.1.2.4 Position of the nozzle changers for the SIPLACE MultiStar on the X4
One or two nozzle changers may be installed at locations 1, 2, 3 and 4 for the CPP head (items 1
and 2 in Fig. 6.1 - 14
). This gives a total capacity of 8 nozzle changers.
In the standard configuration, the number of nozzle holders is:
40 magazines (20xx) = 480 nozzle holders
8 magazines (28xx) = 72 nozzle holders

One or two nozzle changers may be installed at locations 1, 3 and 4 for the CPP head (items 1
and 2 in Fig. 6.1 - 15
). One nozzle changer may be installed at location 2. This gives a total ca-
pacity of 7 nozzle changers.
In the standard configuration, the number of nozzle holders is:
35 magazines (20xx) = 420 nozzle holders
7 magazines (28xx) = 63 nozzle holders
