6.1.3.1 Description
This nozzle changer can hold up to 12 nozzle magazines. There are two types of magazine avail-
able: standard magazines and magazines for special nozzles or grippers. The magazines are
seated on a common support. They are centered with two parallel pins and fixed in place with two
countersunk screws.

6.1.3.3 Position of the nozzle changers for the TwinStar on the X4 machine
A nozzle changer may be installed for each TwinStar at the following locations:
Nozzle changer 1 at location 3: 12 magazines
Nozzle changer 2 at location 2: 10 magazines
This gives a total capacity of 2 nozzle changers with 22 magazines and a total of 44 nozzle hold-
ers.

PLEASE NOTE 6
If there is an MTC installed at location 2 or 4, then the "Nozzle changer for the TwinStar in the
placement area with 2 gantries and docked MTC" option must be set up there (see Section
6.1.3.7, from page 380).

6.1.3.4 Position of the nozzle changers for the TwinStar on the X3 machine
A nozzle changer may be installed for each TwinStar at the following locations:
Nozzle changer 1 at location 3 (item 1 in Fig. 6.1 - 23
): 12 magazines
Nozzle changer 2 at locations 2 and 4 (item 5 in Fig. 6.1 - 23
): 10 magazines each
This gives a total capacity of 3 nozzle changers with 32 magazines and a total of 64 nozzle hold-
ers.
