Fans on Top of Machine 3M30
Every 3 Months Cleaning
Remove the filters from the cooling fans on the top
of the main body and clean them with a vacuum
cleaner.
After cleaning, put the filters back in place.
Filter of Main Machine Driving Section 3M31
Every 3 Months Cleaning
Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner.
Air Filter of Oil Cooler 1W11
Weekly Cleaning
Detach the filter and clean it with an air gun or
wash with water.
After cleaning, put the filter back in place.
(a) After the filter is detached, blow off dirt
and dust on the fin surfaces with an
air gun.
(b) If the filter is kept dirty, the machine
will break down.
Cooling Fans of Feeder Carriage Sections 3M33
Every 3 Months Cleaning
Clean the finger guards located above and under
the cooling fan filters with a vacuum cleaner.

(28) Exhaust Cleaner

Every 6 Months Replacement/Cleaning
The grease supplied to the cam constraining
cylinder collects in the oil case.
• Detach the oil case and remove the nut to
replace the element with a new one.
• Wipe off the grease that has accumulated in
the oil case with a rag.
Refer to "1.4.14 Replacement of Exhaust
Cleaner Element" for how to replace the
element.

Although it is recommended that the
element should be replaced or cleaned
every 6 months, the element must be
replaced or cleaned whenever grease
has supplied to the cam constraining
cylinder in the placement U/D section
(21) six times so far regardless of
whether six months has elapsed or not
after the previous replacement or
cleaning.
