1.4 Maintenance Method
(9) Press the [Next] button. The following sheet appears.

Press all the buttons (entitled "FEEDER READY").
When the [ENABLE] button on the operation panel is pressed in
two seconds after the [ON] button (entitled "MOVE"), the aging op-
eration of the feeder carriage section starts.
(10) After the aging is completed, the following tab sheet appears.

(11) When the [ENABLE] button on the operation panel is pressed in
two seconds after the [ON] button (entitled "MOVE"), the following

(12) Press the [EMERGENCY STOP] switch.
Open the feeder carriage cover on the F4 side.
Clean the linear scale on the F4 side with a cotton swab soaked in
alcohol (absolute ethanol).
After the cleaning, close the feeder carriage cover on the F4 side.
Never use any organic compounds other than alcohol.

(13) Unlock the [EMERGENCY STOP] switch and press the [RESET]
button.
Press the [POWER ON] button to power the machine.
Press the [ALL] button (entitled "ZERO"). In two seconds, press
the [ENABLE] button on the operation panel.
Press the [Next] button. The following sheet appears.

Press the [ON] button (entitled "MOVE"). In two seconds, press the
[ENABLE] button on the operation panel.
Follow the same procedure as described in Step (12) to clean the
linear scale on the F1 side.
(15) Unlock the [EMERGENCY STOP] switch and press the [RESET]
button.
Press the [POWER ON] button to power the machine.
Press the [Next] button. The work will be completed.
