Error ID Item Description
430101 Nozzle Change Nozzle change action error. (DD-head camfree position)
(Cause 1) Self-Diagnostics Error Message
(Remedy 1) Zero all axes and re-start the operation.
When the machine cannot be set to its normal condition, consult our service
personnel for the remedy.
430207 NOZZLE POSITION Nozzle posture system alarm signal was detected.
430208 NOZZLE POSITION Communication error in nozzle posture system.
(Cause 1) The optical beam was not set in the "E/R" or the "E/NR" condition due to dirt on the
sensor. (E/R: Light Emitted and Received, E/NR: Light Emitted and Not Received)
The sensor may be defective.
(Remedy 1) Press the [RETURN] button to cancel the error display and check that no dirt
adheres to the sensor.
430209 NOZZLE POSITION The selected nozzle was erroneously positioned. ;Nozzle
posture detection
(Cause 1) The selected nozzle moved down, passing over the low level at Station #10.
Self-Diagnostics Error Message.
(Remedy 1) Zero all axes and re-start the operation.
When the machine cannot be set to its normal condition, consult our service
personnel for the remedy.
43020a NOZZLE POSITION The selected nozzle level was not at high position. ;Nozzle
posture detection
43020b NOZZLE POSITION The selected nozzle level was not at low position. ;Nozzle
posture detection
(Cause 1) When the nozzle change operation was completed at Station #10, the nozzle detec-
tion sensor could not detect the normal level (High/Low Level) of the nozzle.
(Defective Nozzle Sliding Movement)
(Remedy 1) Check the contents of the error and re-start the operation.
When the error still occurs frequently after the operation is re-started, adjust the
object head and check the sliding movement.
Refer to "1.4.5 Disassembly, Cleaning, and Lubrication of Miniature Stroke Bear-
ing" in "Section 1" for the adjustment.
When the machine cannot be set to its normal condition, consult our service
personnel for the remedy.

Error ID Item Description
43020c NOZZLE POSITION The unselected nozzle was erroneously positioned. ;Nozzle
posture detection
(Cause 1) The optical beam was not set in the "E/R" or the "E/NR" condition due to dirt on the
sensor. (E/R: Light Emitted and Received, E/NR: Light Emitted and Not Received).
The sensor may be defective.
(Cause 2) This error occurs when the nozzle almost comes off at Station #8 and touches the
component discharge plate.
(This error occurs during automatic or manual operation.)
(Remedy 1) Confirm that no dirt adheres to the sensor. Or, it may be necessary to replace
the sensor with a new one because it may be defective.
Before replacing the sensor, contact our service personnel for some advice.
(Remedy 2) Check the head at Station #8. Subsequently, perform the reverse rotation opera-
tion to move the head back toward the front side of the machine. Then, insert the
nozzle deep inside.
43020d NOZZLE POSITION The selected nozzle level was not at high position. ;Nozzle
posture detection
43020e NOZZLE POSITION The selected nozzle level was not at low position. ;Nozzle
posture detection
(Cause 1) The component which should be placed on the P.C.B. was carried back.
(Remedy 1) Check the contents of the error and re-start the operation.
Refer to "2.7 Component Backtrack Detection Function" (Section 2) in "Vol. 2"
for details.
43020f NOZZLE POSITION The selected nozzle was not at position. ;Nozzle posture
detection
(Cause 1) Self-Diagnostics Error Message
The nozzle detection sensor could not detect the nozzle stationary position (the
nozzle level at the stationary position) at Station #10 for the nozzle which was about
to pick up a component.
(Defective Nozzle Sliding Movement)
(Cause 2) The end of the nozzle is broken (lost).
(Remedy 1) Check the contents of the error and re-start the operation.
When the error still occurs after the operation is re-started, adjust the object
head and check the sliding movement.
Refer to "1.4.5 Disassembly, Cleaning, and Lubrication of Miniature Stroke Bear-
ing" in "Section 1" for the adjustment.
When the machine cannot be set to its normal condition, consult our service
personnel for the remedy.
(Remedy 2) Replace the object nozzle with another one.

Error ID Item Description
430210 NOZZLE POSITION Component output error(Pickup error) is detected by nozzle
level was high position. ;Nozzle posture detection
430211 NOZZLE POSITION Component output error(Pickup error) is detected by nozzle
level was low position. ;Nozzle posture detection
(Cause 1) The mispicked component could not be discharged.
(Remedy 1) Check the contents of the error and re-start the operation.
Refer to "2.7 Component Backtrack Detection Function" (Section 2) in "Vol. 2"
for details.
430212 NOZZLE POSITION Component output error(Others) is detected by nozzle level
was high position. ;Nozzle posture detection
430213 NOZZLE POSITION Component output error(Others) is detected by nozzle level
was low position. ;Nozzle posture detection
(Cause 1) The error-caused component (an error other than a pickup one) could not be dis-
charged.
(Remedy 1) Check the contents of the error and re-start the operation.
Refer to "2.7 Component Backtrack Detection Function" (Section 2) in "Vol. 2"
for details.
430214 NOZZLE POSITION Upper limit of nozzle posture detection data was out of range.
430215 NOZZLE POSITION Lower limit of nozzle posture detection data was out of range.
430216 NOZZLE POSITION Nozzle posture detection was not detected full range.
(nozzle posture detection is dirty condition)
430217 NOZZLE POSITION Nozzle posture detection was Alarm.
(nozzle posture detection is dirty condition)
(Cause 1) The sensor is set in the E/NR (Light Emitted and Not Received) mode until the
zeroing operation is completed after the machine is powered.
(Remedy 1) Confirm that no dirt adheres to the sensor. Or, it may be necessary to replace
the sensor with a new one because it may be defective.
