4.4 Replenishment of Industrial Alcohol
CAUTION
Be sure to turn off the power supply to the machine before
work.
Only the person in charge of maintenance should perform
this work.
DANGER
With the exception of industrial use alcohol, do not
use cleaning solvents.
In particular, be sure not to use gasoline by mistake
as it is highly ammable.
Reference
Refer to "1.2.1 Preparation for Cleaning" for the kinds of industrial alcohol.
CAUTION
Industrial alcohol is likely to ignite if spilt within the
machine.
Do not put the industrial alcohol on the machine.
Otherwise, you may spill the alcohol by mistake,
causing it to ow into the inside of the machine.
Do not put the industrial alcohol nor the
replenishment container inside the machine.
Be sure not to perform replenishment work (supplying
the replenishment container with industrial alcohol)
in the machine.
Do not spill industrial alcohol outside the solvent tank
during the replenishment work.
If you have spilt solvent by mistake, clean it up with a
rag as soon as possible.
After cleaning up the spilt solvent, conrm that it has
dried completely and enough ventilation is provided.
After that, turn on the power switch of the machine.

Procedure
(1) Stop the operation and shut off the power to the machine.
(2) Remove the cap and the internal lid of the solvent tank.

(3) Replenish the solvent tank with additional industrial alcohol, using the
replenishment container.
WARNING
To avoid solvent spills, be sure to use the
replenishment container equipped with a nozzle.
If you have spilt solvent by mistake, clean it up
with a rag as soon as possible.
After cleaning up the spilt solvent, conrm that it
has dried completely and enough ventilation is
provided. After that, turn on the power switch of
the machine.
Note
The solvent tank must be lled up to the "Max." line with industrial
alcohol. (Approx. 2,000 ml or less)
If you ll the tank beyond the "Max." line, alcohol will overow and drip
out of the tank, down to the oor.

(4) After the replenishment of industrial alcohol, attach the internal lid of the
solvent tank and tighten the cap securely.
Notice
Do not forget to put the internal lid back in place.
WARNING
When the cap is loose, the internal lid may blow off,
causing the industrial alcohol to drip out. The spill
may also cause a re.
Tighten the cap of the tank securely.
Note
If air enters the tube running between the solvent tank and the discharge nozzle,
the cleaning solvent may not be discharged soon.
In this case, discharge a little amount of alcohol to let the air escape, using the
[SOLVENT DISPENSER] Button on the

window.
