(4) After the replenishment of industrial alcohol, attach the internal lid of the
solvent tank and tighten the cap securely.
Notice
Do not forget to put the internal lid back in place.
WARNING
When the cap is loose, the internal lid may blow off,
causing the industrial alcohol to drip out. The spill
may also cause a re.
Tighten the cap of the tank securely.
Note
If air enters the tube running between the solvent tank and the discharge nozzle,
the cleaning solvent may not be discharged soon.
In this case, discharge a little amount of alcohol to let the air escape, using the
[SOLVENT DISPENSER] Button on the
"
cleaning
"
window.

4.5 Checking of Industrial Alcohol Hose Joints
Check for industrial alcohol leakage from the hose (including the joints) running
between the solvent tank and the cleaning nozzle.
Reference
Refer to "1.3.2.8 Cleaning" for the Check position.
Check the following
•
Industrial Alcohol Leakage
•
Loosened or Deteriorated Hose Joints and Gaskets
•
Cracks or Any Other Deterioration in Hose
Be sure to always perform this checking before starting the operation of the
machine and after completing a setup operation.
CAUTION
Industrial alcohol leaks are likely to cause res.
•
Whenever an industrial alcohol leakage is found, turn
off the power switch of the machine immediately.
•
When it is impossible to determine the cause of a leak
or to repair a leak, contact the marketing department
or sales agency of Hitachi High-Technologies.
•
It may be difcult to detect a leakage because
industrial alcohol is a volatile liquid.
Be sure to carefully conrm that there are no traces of
leaks around joints, etc.

4.6 Cleaning Procedure of Cleaning Unit
CAUTION
Press the cover lock switch to open the transparent
covers and then perform the operation.
Only the person in charge of maintenance should
perform this operation.
