Key operation lock mechanism, including 2 keys.
The key can only be removed in certain positions; see diagram.
The MICROMEC lock for 90° can be used for other switching angles as well if the
key withdrawability characteristics match the type of switch.
Example: +IVS/S-B can be used with a step switch with a
switching angle of 30° if the key is only to be withdrawable in the 0 position at
270°.

Soft and hard knockouts
Standard Ci-K enclosure have “soft knockouts” which utilises a
soft puncturable cable membrane for connection of supply and
load lines while maintaining ingress protection.
Hard knockouts are also referred to as metric knockouts, and are
made of a solid plastic where the central retainer is “knocked out”
from the enclosure, and a metric gable gland is used to secure
the ingress of supply and load lines
An option of “hard knockouts” are available for some products
as a standard selection, these can be identied within the part
number by the inclusion of hte letter ‘H’ after the enclosure size,
e.g. I1H or I2H. They can be requested, if the option is not stated
in the catalogue, for enclosure sizes I1 and I2
Parts numbers for ordering the optional hard knockouts and
associated cable glands can be found on page 151.
