4.2 Power OFF Operation
The following explains how to shut down the power to the machine.
NOTICE
Be sure to log out from an operation window, make
the "Top" window appear, shut down the system, and
turn off the power to the machine.
When the power is turned off without going through the
shutdown procedure, the saved data may be deleted and/or
the compact flash memory card (CF) and the main body
of the machine may be damaged.
Procedure
(1) When the operation window is to be closed, press the [Return] button on the
common menu in each operation window.
The operation window will be closed and "Top" window will appear.

Note
When one of the edit windows such as "Pattern Program Edit" window is
displayed, close such edit window using the corresponding operation procedure,
before pressing the [Return] button.

(2) Press the [SHUTDOWN] button on the "Top" window.
The shutdown conrmation window will be displayed.

(3) Press the [Yes] button.
After the system shutdown processing, the power to the machine is stopped.
When the [No] button is pressed, the shutdown processing is stopped and the
"Top" window is returned.
(4) Set the lever of the power breaker to the "OFF" position. The lever of the
power breaker is located on the front side of the machine.

4.3 Locking the Power Breaker
Notice
When the machine is not to be used for a long period of time, lock the
power breaker with the padlock.
Procedure
(1) Pull out the lock lever of the power breaker in Direction A (indicated in the
gure below).
Be sure not to release your hand from the lock lever. Otherwise, the lock
lever will pull back in place.
(2) Engage the shackle of the padlock through the lock slot and lock the crank.

CAUTION
The padlock key should be kept in such a way that
nobody except the personnel in charge of maintenance can
supervise it.
