ADJUSTMENTS AND SETTINGS
Vision Height
WARNING
BOARD CLAMPS. EXTREME CARE MUST BE EXERCISED WHEN WORKING IN
THE TOOLING AREA OF THE MACHINE TO AVOID INJURY. THE FOILS ON THE
FRONT AND REAR BOARD CLAMPS ARE VERY SHARP.
NOTE
Ensure the board file used has the correct board thickness value. Check rail /
camera X motor bracket clearance. Remember that the vision height may be
higher if a thinner board is used.
1. Select Unload Screen.
2. Open the front printhead cover.
3. Remove the screen from the machine.
4. Place the board on the rails and slide to a central position.
5. Refit the screen.
6. Close the front printhead cover.
7. Press the System button.
8. Select Load Screen.
9. Select Maintenance.
10. Select Diagnostics.
11. Use Next or Previous to highlight Rising Table.
12. Select Select Module.
13. Use Next or Previous to highlight Raise Table To Vision Height.
14. Select Run Diagnost.
15. Remove the left hand safety cover.
16. Using a suitable metric rule, measure the distance between the bottom of
the screen to the top of the board. Check that the dimension is 79.5mm.
17. If the dimension is correct, go to Step 26.
18. Use Next or Previous to highlight Drive Table Using Jog Buttons.
19. Select Run Diagnost.
20. Using jog buttons drive the rising table to achieve a vision height of 79.5mm.
CAUTION
VISION HEIGHT. The rising table must not be jogged up higher than the
specified dimension, camera damage may occur.
NOTE
The right jog button drives the rising table up, the left jog button drives the
rising table down.
21. Use Next or Previous to highlight Set Reference Vision Height.
22. Select Run Diagnost. The message ‘This Will Alter The Printer Config-
uration File - Please Confirm’ is displayed.

23. Select Confirm.
24. Use Next or Previous to highlight Home Rising Table.
25. Select Run Diagnost.
26. Refit the left hand safety cover.
27. Select Exit.
28. Select Exit.
29. Remove the board from the rails.
30. Select Back.
31. If the vision height has been adjusted a vision calibration and an offset
calibration must be carried out.
Board to
Snugger Gap
This setting is used to ensure that the board runs freely when transported on
the rails.
1. Ensure that the calibration board product is loaded into the product file.
2. Select Open Cover Commands.
3. Select Carriage To Rear.
4. Select Unload Screen.
5. Open the front printhead cover.
6. Remove the screen from the machine.
7. Place the calibration board on the input transport rail belts. Manually move
the board into the tooling area of the machine. Check for any clicks or
knocks where the board may catch on the shoulders of the rail, or mid
section modules. If tight areas are detected the rails should be adjusted.
8. With the board in the tooling area, use a 0.2mm feeler gauge between the
edge of the board and the snugger plate. If the feeler gauge is either tight
or loose, adjust the Set Rail Board Width Calibration accordingly.
9. Manually remove the board.
10. Select Run Diagnost. Open the rail width offset window.
11. Select Incr. or Decr. to set the offset required to increase or decrease the
rail width dimension.
12. Recheck the width as described in steps 7 and 8 above.
13. Select Maintenanace.
14. Select Diagnostics.
15. Select Next or Previous to highlight Cycle Board on Belts.
16. Close the front printhead cover.
17. Press the System button.
18. Select Maintenanace.
19. Select Diagnostics.
20. Select Next or Previous to highlight Cycle Board on Belts.
21. Select Run Diagnost.
22. Place the calibration board on the input transport rail belts.

23. Select Auto Board and ensure the board runs through the entire length of
the rail system for 10 complete cycles, without jamming or excessive clicking
of the board edges.
24. Select Stop.
25. Exit Diagnostics.
