3-2 Adjusting the Transport Rail Width
NOTICE
For board getting small (transport rail width gets small), pull out the holder pins of
board X-Y table before adjusting the rail width. If they are present, the sensor,
which prevents from touching the holder pins to the conveyor, works and auto-
matic width adjustment as “Support (Pin) - Conveyor Interference,” and automatic
width adjustment is quitted.
Rail width of front and rear conveyors and board holder is automatically adjusted, according to the
data of board size and thickness.

If there are any boards or other objects on the conveyor, turn OFF the servo switch and remove them.
BEFORE PERFORMING AUTOMATIC WIDTH ADJUSTMENT, BE SURE TO
VERIFY NO BOARDS OR OTHER OBJECTS ARE ON THE CONVEYOR.
Boards or other objects may drop from the conveyor, causing damage to the boards or
the machine.

TAKE CARE NOT TO PINCH YOUR HANDS OR FINGERS.
You will have serious injury if your hands or fingers are caught in the conveyors during
manual (or automatic) width adjustment.

UNLOCK
and Run .
• “Conveyor width adjust preparing...”

The message “Conveyor width adjusting”
appears, and transferring rail is automatically
adjusted.
5. Press .
• Machine adjustment menu reappears.
6. Press .
• Main menu reappears.

3-3 Setting the Holder Pins
When the board size and thickness are changed, or when parts are set to the rear side of board,
the holder pins are adjusted.
1. Move supporters according to board
size.
• Set as many supporters as possible to support
whole board equally.
∗ Be careful not to touch pins to parts on rear
side of board.
NOTICE
Before setting the supporters, carry out automatic width adjustment for the front
and rear conveyors and board holder.

TURN OFF THE POWER AND THE SERVO SWITCH BEFORE WORKING INSIDE
ACTIVE PART OF THE MACHINE FOR MACHINE SET-UP.
