Notes on Machine Operations
Please keep the instruction manual in a safe place within reach.
Follow the instructions in the instruction manual for correct handling of the machine.
Be sure to fully understand the contents of the safety instructions in the instruction
manual and follow the instructions.
Please pay special attention to the precautionary items lab
eled on the machine or
described in the instruction manual and be sure to keep them.
When the precautionary
items are ignored, it will result in personal injury or property damage (damage to the
machine).
Be sure to follow the operational instructions described in
the instruction manual.
Do not modify the machine nor use any parts other than the specied ones for the
machine. Be sure not to use the machine with its safety devices detached. Doing
otherwise may cause personal injury
.
Also, be sure not to change the setting of the operating
system nor install any software
additionally

Do not perform any operations other than those described in the instruction manual.
Whenever a problem arises, regarding the machine operations, performance, etc.,

o avoid this danger, respect the following guideline.

The machine must be used with the covers being attached.
•
Be sure to close the covers (door type) before operating the machine.
•
Do not disengage the interlock mechanism of the covers (door type).
Whenever you feel danger or abnormality
, immediately press the
[EMERGENCY STOP] switch to stop the machine.
If the machine is kept running in abnormal condition, an accident or a
breakdown will result.

When there is a problem with the machine, locate the cause and assess the
condition. Set the power breaker to "OFF".
Aftertheproblem
hasbeenrectiedcompletely,resetthemachinetoits
normal condition.
When the green lamp of the light tower is ON or ickering (ON and OFF), it indicates
that the static machine is in the "Automatic" mode (standby mode).
In case of a disaster of any kind, earthquake, storm, ood, re, or lightning,
immediately stop the machine and turn off the power supply.
When the machine stops due to a component pickup error, be sure to remove the
mispicked component from the feeder and start the automatic operation.
Do not use any unspecied feeders.

Notes on Installation, Transfer and Maintenance
Do not install or transfer the machine on the customer side after shipment.
T
o ensure perfect operation of the machine, including s
afety and accuracy
, only our
installation service department will install the machine or transfer it to another place.
Only the maintenance work on items described in this manual should be performed by
the customer
. Please read the instruction manual carefully before maintenance work.
Do not perform any maintenance work on items that are
not described in this manual.
Otherwise, not only breakdown of the machine but also
personal injury may result.
When an alert label has deteriorated and become illegible, contact our service
department.
Only a well-trained service person should perform maintenance work carefully
through for the machine in compliance with the instructions.
Before the maintenance work, be sure to turn off the power breaker and lock
them with padlocks.
Designate a person who can have charge of the padlock key.
If the provided padlock is lost or damaged, purchase its substitute.
Even when the power breaker is set to "OFF", the primary line is powered,
making it possible to cause an electric shock.
Be sure to completely stop the power supply to the machine before maintenance work.
Residual voltages may remain behind for a few minutes in the internal devices
of the machine after power interception.
Before performing maintenance work, wait until the char
ge lamps of the DC power
supply and the servoamplier go "OFF" in 10 minutes or more after the power breaker
is set to "OFF".
