(2) Supply about 5cc of new grease from the grease nipple using the grease gun.

(1) Remove the front cover.
(2) Clean the debris and dust in the cutter unit using a vacuum cleaner.
Note
Use a vacuum cleaner with a narrow air opening in the nozzle.

After making sure that the air supply has been stopped and the
cutter blades are closed, start maintenance.
During maintenance, do not touch the cutter blade.

Every Day Cleaning
Required Time: 5 minutes
When any fat or oil is stuck to the line sensor,
rub off the dirt using a cotton applicator dipped
in dehydrated ethanol.
Nozzle U/D Ball Screw (NL Axis)
Every 3 Months Cleaning and Lubrication
(DAPHNE GREASE MP No. 1)
Required Time: 5 minutes
Use No. 19 (brown) nozzle.

Wipe off the old grease with a rag and apply a
small amount of new grease to the groove of
the ball screw with a syringe.

Diffusion Plate
Every Month Cleaning
Required Time: 2 minutes
(1) Store all nozzles in the nozzle stocker
(housing) through window navigations.
(2)
Sebum or oil should not
adhere to the surface of the
diffusion plate.
Refer to "5. Nozzle Change
Window" in "Chapter 6 (Vol. 2)"
for the procedure of nozzle storage.
Reference
Wipe the diffusion plate with a dry lens
cleaning cloth.
