: Run the signal cable (00377716-xx) through the back panel of the housing and into the com-
munication interface. Fix it using the cable gland on the housing.
: Attach connectors X4 and X7.

Make sure that the polarisation in the connector is correct. 2

: Fix the signal cable using a cable tie and refit the front panel using six screws.

Make sure that the LED (SW MN; 00328703-xx) fits into the front panel. 2

: Remove the table adapter from the previous air hose.

: Run the new air hose beside the cables so that the air hose is connected, beneath the table
bed, with the existing, shortened air hose.
: Fix the cables and the air hose beneath the table bed using a cable tie.

Do not overtighten the cable tie - leave a little slack. 2

2.7 Work on the machine
2.7.1 Fitting the adapter
: Remove the cover plate and drill 4 holes. Cut an M5 thread. The dimensions are shown on the
enclosed drilling pattern.

The holes must be drilled and the thread cut with the cover plate removed, otherwise cables be-
hind it may be damaged. 2
