In the case of certain actions, it may be necessary to display the camera image of the machine
vision system (vision evaluation unit) on-screen during assembly. 3
Æ Click the Video image > menu item or press the key combination ALT+8. The display area is
switched to the MVS camera image in processing area 1.
Æ Press the ESC key to restore the display area to the normal view.
Cluster for fine calibration... (only for SIPLACE S23 and F5 HM) 3
In "Stand alone" control mode, you can use this menu item to load the data of a selected panel
(placement program) from the station computer’s hard disk. 3

PCB barcode 3
You use this item to display a dialog box with a list of the barcodes most recently read by the PCB
barcode reader. This dialog box also informs you if an error occurred while reading the barcode,
if the file format is incorrect or if no data is available. 3
NOTE
You cannot call the menu item "PCB barcode ..." unless the PCB barcode reader has been in-
stalled in the machine and has been activated in the machine options. 3
Configure traceability... 3
This menu item can be used to specify the settings for the "Traceability" option. The item is only
active if the "Traceability" option has been installed on the SIPLACE machine and is activated in
the "Component verification with barcode" machine options. 3

Traceability in PCB production means, among other things, the ability to trace the source of com-
ponents (materials) used in production even after several years. The Traceability function enables
traceability data to be generated during production and makes this data available to the customer
for further processing in the form of a data interface (XML files). 3

the online Help system. 3
3.3.2.4 "Language" menu
It is possible to set the language versions for the user interface integrated into the station com-
puter software via the "Language" menu. The standard installation only contains the languages
German and English. The other languages are optionally installed from the language pack CD-
ROM . 3
NOTE
The languages available for the SIPLACE machines are listed in the software version description
(order number: 00195009-xx). 3
The user interface can be changed to a different language from any view. 3
Æ Click the menu item corresponding to the required language.
The user interface texts are displayed in the selected language.
3.3.2.5 "Help" menu
This menu gives you access to all the functions required to call the help system as well as general
information concerning the station computer or the software. 3

This displays information on the currently installed software version (SC version) and general in-
formation on the station computer. 3
NOTE
You can use the key combination CTRL+F1 to call the online Help system from within any view in
the user interface.
You can use the key combination Alt+F1 to call up help on the current view and the key combina-
tion Shift+F1 to access help on menu items, icons and buttons.
