5 Error information
5.1 General
If errors occur during operations at the placement station, you can call up information about the
possible causes and ways of eliminating the error in question. 5
To do this click the Error information button to start the Help system for the station computer.5
The information displayed will always be related to the error that is currently displayed on
screen, and from which the Help system was called.
You can find information about other errors using the help system index. Simply enter the num-
ber of the error you wish to find, and the system will call up the description that belongs to this
error.
5.2 Calling error information
If an error occurs during operation, the appropriate error message is displayed in red in the status
bar of the user interface. The Error information and Clear error buttons are active in the main
view (see Fig. 5.2 - 1). 5
You use the Clear error button to clear an error after the cause of the error has been eliminated.5

5.2.1 Displaying information on the current error

Click the Error information button in the main view.
The main Help system window is opened with information on the currently selected error (see
example in Fig. 5.2 - 3).

5.2.2 Displaying information about a selected error

Æ Click the icon in the toolbar in the Main view.
The user interface switches to the error display for the last error type to be active. All errors of
the current error type that have occurred are displayed in the display area.
Æ Use the appropriate button on the view toolbar to switch to the type of error you require.
The display area is switched to the selected error type (see the example in Fig. 5.2 - 2).

Æ In the error table, select the entry for the error about which you want to be informed. The line
selected is highlighted in light blue in the table. The "Error information" button is now active.
Æ Click the Error information button.
The main Help system window is opened and displays information on the currently selected
error (see Fig. 5.2 - 3).
