7. Grease the two middle runner blocks through the funnel-type
lube nipples, which are located beneath the two front runner
blocks.
8. Move the runner blocks back and forth with three double
strokes; the distance should be equal to at least three times
the length of a runner block.
9. Check if there is a visible grease layer on the guide rails.
The Y-axis guide carriages are greased.
The guide carriages in the AXI section are greased.

- AOI
This section describes the lubrication of spindles and guides for the
PCB clamping and width adjustment.
The following sections describe how to lubricate the spindles and
guides:

WARNING
Hazard of injury
Turn off the system and secure it against accidental restart
before starting lubrication.
Perform the following work steps:
1. Check the guides and spindles for dirt and clean these compo-
nents as required.
2. Give the spindle threads and guides a thin coat of grease with
the brush.
3. Open and close the width adjustment, see „Installation“ >
„Adjusting the transport track width“ (Page 86).
4. Open and close the clamping.
5. Check if there is a visible grease film on the spindles and
guides.
6. Check the function and smoothness of the clamping and width
adjustment.
The spindles and guides are greased.
